What's in the box?
Each delivery brings you wines that:
- Are drinkable now or worth saving (and tips for which is which)
- Are made with quality grapes and production methods
- Come from winemakers who are trying new, interesting methods
- Have an interesting story, giving you a chance to connect with Portugal, its people and its many varietals
Join the club to receive up to 12 wines, depending on membership. Each wine comes with profile tasting notes and a little backstory. Occasionally we’ll feature a wine with 1-2 food pairing suggestions from our Founder, Chef Cliff Lewis Lyles. With each box, you can count on high quality, variety and a chance to fill your cup with wines off the beaten path. Members have the option to pick up their box at M8triarch, our partner in Lisbon, or have wine delivered to their home.

The Fine Print
Process: Before each shipment, we’ll send you a reminder that your box is coming soon. This is your chance to have a voice in what you receive — whether it’s a bigger or smaller box or more focus on a particular color.
Conditions: Free opt in/opt out any time before shipment. No enrollment fees or monthly fees. Sign-up in accordance with GDPR, including permission to pass data to shipping agent. Membership starts with first payment and is automatically renewed with receipt of next payment. Payment by Stripe or Paypal to be received prior to shipping. Pro-forma invoice issued with 30 days payment term. Shipping approx. 10 days after payment term.

About the team
Cliff Lewis Lyles, executive chef and C-suite leader, and Serene Lewis Lyles, WSET 1 and Intro to Wine certificate, started The Portuguese Pour wine club because of their love of Portugal’s diverse wines and welcoming community. The wines in each box reflect Portugal’s long history of wine making, innovative approaches to making wines for the future, and the warmth and generosity of the Portuguese people.
